The Laboratório Nacional de Redes de Computadores (LARC) was established in 1979 with the goals of promoting interdisciplinary research, fostering the development of human resources, and advancing specialized technologies in the field of computer networks. Its mission is to build national-level expertise in this area of knowledge and to promote collaboration among its member institutions.
One of LARC’s key initiatives to achieve these goals is its contribution to the organization of the SBRC. Currently, LARC includes more than 30 universities and Science and Technology Institutions, distributed across all five regions of Brazil.
