The 44th edition of the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC) event will be held in Praia do Forte, Mata de São João, Bahia, located one hour from Salvador Airport.

The event venue offers a connection with nature on the North Coast of Bahia, integrated with the village of Praia do Forte, which has a wide hotel network and hosts various restaurants that will serve as bases for lunches and dinners. Additionally, there are other attractions such as ecotourism activities and the only Medieval Castle of Americas. 

One of the premises of this edition is integration with the local community, especially through partnerships with regional schools, full engagement with traditional communities and local associations in activities aimed at popularizing science and technology, understanding the social role of the Brazilian scientific community.
