In this context, the <strong>Workshop on Testing and Fault Tolerance <\/strong> has been, for the past 25 years, the main national forum of the Special Committee on Fault-Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).<\/p>\n                    <p class=\"translation-block\">The WTF was established in 1998 as a platform for discussions and idea exchange regarding theoretical and practical works on testing and fault tolerance, developed both in academia and industry. In this edition, in addition to addressing traditional topics and research in the field, the workshop aims to tackle challenges introduced by new technologies and development techniques for systems, such as blockchain, decentralized Internet, testing and fault tolerance in 5G networks, future 6G networks, and site reliability engineering (SRE). The workshop program is set to include lectures, tutorials, and presentations of regular papers and extended abstracts in sessions divided into two working shifts.<\/p>\n                    <p class=\"translation-block\">Although traditional, the workshop continues to attract researchers, demonstrating the ongoing demand for building reliable systems in the face of new proposals and emerging technologies. The topics of interest cover innovative areas such as the cloud continuum, blockchain, in-network computing, and virtualization of network services with high availability.<\/p>\n                    <p>\n                      <br>\n                    <\/p>\n                    <h2>Topics of Interest<\/h2>\n                    <p>Authors  are invited to submit papers addressing research related to testing and fault tolerance. Authors with preliminary results or ongoing work are also encouraged to submit their papers. The non-exhaustive list of topics of interest for WTF 2025 includes:<\/p>\n                    <ul>\n                      <li>Distributed algorithms<\/li>\n                      <li>Architectures for high availability of hardware and software<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault-tolerant distributed databases<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Blockchain, distributed ledger technologies (DLT), and decentralized Internet<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">High-availability clusters<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Group communication, multicast, and routing<\/li>\n                      <li>Mobile and embedded computing<\/li>\n                      <li>Reliability of computational grids and clouds<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Reliability of P2P, mobile, and ad hoc networks<\/li>\n                      <li>Reliability in machine learning and artificial intelligence systems<\/li>\n                      <li>Reliability, security, and testing in virtualization<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault detection and recovery<\/li>\n                      <li>Availability in cyber-physical systems (CPS) and cyber-human systems (CHS)<\/li>\n                      <li>Site reliability engineering (SRE)<\/li>\n                      <li>Testing tools and automation<\/li>\n                      <li>Analytical methods for reliability determination<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Middleware robustness, web services, and microservice architectures<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Information security<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Operational safety<\/li>\n                      <li>Adaptive and autonomic systems<\/li>\n                      <li>Real-time systems<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault tolerance techniques in programming languages<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault tolerance techniques for operating systems<\/li>\n                      <li>Testing techniques\/data generation<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Performance testing (benchmarking)<\/li>\n                      <li class=\"translation-block\">Testing and reliability techniques for 5G and B5G (Beyond 5G) networks<\/li>\n                      <li>Testing and fault tolerance in the Internet of Things, smart cities, Industry 4.0, smart agriculture, etc.<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault tolerance in cloud computing, edge computing, and embedded systems<\/li>\n                      <li>Fault tolerance<\/li>\n                      <li>Intrusion tolerance<\/li>\n                      <li>Experimental validation and simulation<\/li>\n                    <\/ul>\n                    <p>\n                      <br>\n                    <\/p>\n                    <h2>Instructions for Authors<\/h2>\n                    <p class=\"translation-block\">Papers submitted to WTF 2025 must be written in Portuguese or English, with a maximum length of <strong>14 pages<\/strong>, including abstract, figures (avoiding bitmap images or very small ones), appendices, references, etc. Authors may submit extended abstracts containing preliminary research results, new guidelines, critical insights, or lessons learned, with a maximum length of 5 pages. All papers must be formatted according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbc.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/modelosparapublicaodeartigos.zip\" target=\"_self\">SBC Template for Article Publication<\/a>.<\/p>\n                    <p class=\"translation-block\">It is also important to note that all submitted papers must comply with the  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbc.org.br\/documentos-da-sbc\/summary\/245-codigo-de-etica-sbc\/1489-revisao-e-atualizacao-do-codigo-de-conduta-para-autores\" target=\"_self\">SBC Code of Conduct for Authors in Publications<\/a>, approved by the SBC Council in February 2024. Submissions will be exclusively electronic through <a href=\"https:\/\/jems3.sbc.org.br\/wtf2025\" target=\"_self\">JEMS3<\/a>.<\/p>\n                    <p class=\"translation-block\">All accepted and revised papers, based on the recommendations of the WTF 2025 Program Committee, will be published in SBC's digital library, SBC OpenLibrary (SOL), in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sol.sbc.org.br\/index.php\/wtf\" target=\"_self\">WTF series<\/a>.
