Presentation

The Workshop on Network and Service Management and Operation is an event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and aims to provide a space for the presentation of relevant research and activities in the area of ​​network and service management and operation. In this way, the event contributes to integrating the Brazilian community of researchers and professionals working in this area. In addition, the WGRS aims to promote a forum for the presentation and discussion of solutions used by providers and users of network management systems. The 30th edition of the WGRS will be held during the 43rd Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2025), which will be held between May 19 and 23, 2025, in Natal-RN.


Topics of Interest

Authors are invited to submit full papers containing relevant results of their scientific or technological research. All submitted papers will be judged based on their quality and relevance by a review panel of three or more experts. Only original papers that have not been published elsewhere will be considered. Instructions for Authors

Articles to be submitted to WGRS 2025 must be written in Portuguese or English, with a maximum of 14 pages, including summary, abstractfigures, attachments, references, etc. All articles must be formatted according to the  SBC's Article Publication Template. It is also important to emphasize that the articles to be submitted must follow the  SBC's Code of Conduct for Authors in Publications, approved by the SBC Council in February 2024. Submission of articles will be exclusively electronic, through the system  JEMS3.

Papers submitted to WGRS 2025 will be evaluated by the workshop’s Program Committee and the best papers will be selected for presentation and publication in the event’s proceedings. The evaluation committee, composed of members of the Program Committee, will announce the best papers during the event and the authors will receive a certificate, including the best paper and two honorable mentions. In addition, the authors of the best paper will be invited to submit an extended version to the journal. IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management (IEEE TNSM).

All accepted and reviewed articles will be published in SBC's digital library, the SBC OpenLibrary (SOL), at WGRS series.. The publication of accepted articles requires the registration of at least one author in SBRC 2025, as well as the oral presentation of the article during the event.
